Bed of roses

Sunday post: where I take the day off and post something from my website.
This is an experimental painting. I painted from my head without any planning, rough sketch etc... just went at it. I was really into Klimt at the time and you can see his influences. Actually, I'm still into him : ) Loved his sense of pattern and design.

This is nice and a great way to paint. I am always so hung up on producing something with a particular end result. Your exercise of freedom is such a great way to expand and learn. I love your end result, and colors are great.

Kim - I love this. I am a big fan of Klimt too. Nice use of the trees as pattern as well.
